As we close out the year, we’re thrilled to share some major highlights and updates from the last weeks of this year. It’s been an incredible journey, and we can’t wait to take things to the next level in 2025. This will be the last product update of the year 2024 A.K.A The Holiday Update, but definitely not the least.

Brand NEW and lightning-fast Dashboard 😎🔥

It’s finally here: sleek, fast, and incredibly intuitive. The new Tracklution Dashboard is designed to make handling even the largest data sets super easy and quick. Here’s what’s new:

  • Lightning-Fast Search & Filtering: Find exactly what you need - specific dates, ad platforms, or events - in record time with our enhanced search and filtering capabilities.
  • Powerful Deep Dive Tools: Quickly drill down into individual days, events, and traffic sources to uncover detailed insights with just a few clicks.
  • Full User Journey Insights: Analyze sessions alongside their parent sessions to get a complete picture of user behavior, including session sources and full conversion paths.

But we’re not stopping here, this is actually the beginning of a NEW ERA (= we mean, more exciting features are coming soon).

WooCommerce Plugin v1.0

Big news for WooCommerce users! The latest version of our plugin now tracks all key eCommerce funnel events, including:

  • PageView
  • ViewContent & eCommerce data variables (value, currency, product id, product title, variant, category, quantity etc.)
  • AddToCart & eCommerce data variables (value, currency, product id, product title, variant, category, quantity etc.)
  • InitiateCheckout & shopping cart contents (value, currency, items: product id, product title, variant, category, quantity etc.)
  • Purchase & purchase contents (value, currency, items: product id, product title, variant, category, quantity etc.) & enhanced order data

We’ve also improved the webhook creation functionality to ensure it’s created automatically upon installation.

Automatic Data Layer Reading (Beta)

Setting up and operating Tracklution is getting simpler. We’re testing automatic data layer reading with select clients, enabling automatic detection of:

  • Cookie consents (Consent Mode)
  • Product data (eCommerce variables)
  • Contact information (Enhanced Conversions/Advanced Matching)

Flip-a-switch A.K.A self-service controls will roll out in the new Dashboard early next year, making it fully self-cater, as you folks like it 😌

 

Optimized eCommerce Data Delivery to Ad Platforms

Behind the scenes, we’ve improved how eCommerce and event data is delivered to platforms like Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Google Ads. This ensures a smoother and more reliable transition of data for optimal campaign performance.

  • eCommerce Afternoon in Helsinki: Fantastic discussions, presentations and networking, with Shopify itself in attendance – and a full house!
  • Slush 2024: We soaked up the startup energy and connected with amazing people. 👌
  • IAB’s “Get the Most Out of Data” seminar where our CEO Anni gave the final keynote of the year: A practical session packed with real-world conversion tracking challenges and how to solve them.
